Domestic waste refers to the solid waste generated by people in their daily lives or in the activities of providing services for daily life, as well as solid waste that is regarded as domestic waste by laws and administrative regulations, including unused cartons, cans, plastic bags, glass bottles, clothing, broken ceramics and so on.
Domestic waste contains a large amount of recyclable materials, such as high calorific value combustibles that can be prepared into alternative fuels (RDF, SRF) to reduce the use of coal, organic matter can be made into compost or used for digester fermentation, plastic, glass, metal, paper and other high-value recyclables can be directly refurbished and utilized or processed as raw materials for use.
At present, the common treatment methods for domestic waste include landfill, composting and incineration, but all of them must be crushed and refined before treatment.
